Tips To Make The Sink Smell Nice | Royal Homes

Often our sink emits unpleasant odors, but there are several ways to limit them. Find out how to easily make an ecological mixture that removes bad odors.

What do you need? : To make your mixture you will need 1/2 fl. lemon juice and 1/2 fl. sodium carbonate. With just these two ingredients you will get clean, great smelling sinks.

Lemon and baking soda will make your sink smell musky.

Start making your mixture by first heating the lemon juice and adding the baking soda. Make sure the soda dissolves properly and don’t panic if you see foam formation. The foam is the result of the reaction of the baking soda with the lemon.

After mixing the ingredients well, slowly pour the mixture into the sink and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Immediately afterwards, turn on your tap to let warm water flow or pour hot water yourself with a jug.

Salt is also good for the sink and gutters.

Extra tip Use the same mixture to clean your sinks, bathtub and the gutters on the balcony.

If the smell persists, you can try mixing ice cubes with salt. Pour the ice cubes with the salt into the sink and pour the lemon juice over them.
